Description
Sant LluÃs town of islands canarias..Hyacinthe Gaétan of Lannion was lieutenant general of the Real Armies and governor of the island, where he/she died October 2 from 1762 to the 43 years, being buried in Santa MarÃa's church, in Maó.
The French, nevertheless, they could not see completed their work, since the 1763 had to liberate the island to the Britons, by virtue of the Treaty of Paris. From their foundation Sant LluÃs had remained united administratively to Maó, except for the three constitutional periods of the XIX century. But he/she didn't go up to June of 1904, 7 during XIII Alfonso's reign that the Provincial Delegation took the agreement of segregating the town of Sant LluÃs and its villages. Two months later, August of 1904, 7 were constituted the new city council and era chosen mayor Pere TudurÃ.

Alaior was ordered to be founded for the king Jaime II of Majorca in 1304 for the purchase of the property Ihalor, of where it derives the current toponym.
Nevertheless, the existence of the parish of Santa Eulalia (patron today of the village) is previous, because it figures mentioned in Pariatge of 1303.
The church of Santa Eulalia was built on a hill around which was growing the town of Alaior.
From the 1995 up to the 1998 the church of Santa Eulalia was object of an important restoration.

In 1439, when Galceran of Requesens dictated the sentence by arbitration on the municipal classification of Menorca, Alaior obtained particular University, expert as local government's institution, and, therefore, the historical antecedent of the current City council. For Real Ordinance of July 20 of 1926 to Alaior was granted him/her the city title.

Francesc of Borja Moll aims that beside our official name a second more family name applied to more sentimental reasons that it is the malnom or sobrenom (nickname) appears.
The malnoms is part of the history of a town, they are part of the essence of Majorca, our i family is of Dog Majoral.
The wines that take the mark of Dog Majoral are our guard wines. They are characterized to be monovarietales or wines where a variety is the base, the trunk, with small contributions of other to get a bigger complexity. In the case of the two targets we have a fermentation in new boots i later upbringing i the four black an upbringing in new boots and of one year during 12 months. The name of each wine is related with the cultivation lands or with next very dear toponyms for us.
