Description
It is about another coastal and tourist town in him that is the Monastery of San Salvador besides being able to enjoy the beaches that it welcomes, been founded in 1017 by Alfonso and Cristilda, documented in the XII century, and, until the disentailment, Benedictine home; it had an alberguerĂa of pilgrims of the one on the way to Santiago. The square one toasts steeple of the monastery it is, together with the access door to the church, the only rest románico. The church possesses two altarpieces of the XVIII century and images of interest of the XVI centuries to XVIII.

It has rained a lot since these memories were in their day, present. I remember that then in Cerredo we would be from 50 to 56 neighbors, all bienavenidos. The families lived more than the cattle raising that of the agriculture that you/they gave us the fair thing to eat, the men were also devoted to the hunt, and the woman made the works of the home, she took care of the children, she worked the lands, she walked with the livestock... and there was not time for nothing else. They were times in those that the sound of the bells marked the rhythm of the daily chore, the bells spoke, and they told us if it dawned, if it was the hour of the sentence, they told us that there was town council, if there was fire, to go to roads, they played to dead... they were even organized competitions.

Chaff parish of Valdés' asturias town council.The town of Chaff is located in a privileged plain, among the common one coastal and the communal mount, on which the famous pick of "San Antonio of Concilleiro (with an old hermitage and from where the coast and some towns are sighted of around)" rises.
It belongs to the municipality of Valdés and it is located at an approximate distance of 3 kilometers of their capital (Luarca). It has three beautiful and not very converged beaches: "Portizuelo", (favorite Beach of the Prize Nóbel D. Severe Ochoa) "The Mills" and "Beach of Chaos."

Cibea, the mills of water asturias town.In CRA I Laugh Cibea a work group it was developed in the course 1997/98 on this type of mills in the valleys that surround to the river Cibea and that they are environment of CRA. This work is at the moment inventoried in the Center of Professors and Resources of Cangas of Narcea with the name "The mills of water of Cibea."In the course of the river Cibea is taken a census of about 50 mills, in very different conservation state and use. About 46 are in foot, several of them in perfect state and even used by their proprietors. Even this way three more missing and one ramshackle.
