The town of Vulture, is located in a hill in the right bank of the river Ortiz, to the south of the mountain of Brown, to 922 meters on the sea level. Its toponym, of Indo-European origin, is not properly deciphered, existing diverse opinions on its meaning, although the term coincides with the name given to kind of a vulture, in the old thing very extended in Aragon.

Municipality zaragozano belonging to the district of the Field of Daroca, its urban helmet, seated in the hillside of Atheist's mountain, presents us the parochial interesting church of Asunci贸n of Our Mrs., with Mudejar tower embedded to the south wall that is dated in the XVII century. The interior of the temple houses an elegant decoration in plaster-works of Mudejar tradition, carried out by Juan of the Mark in 1675.

The nuns bernardas showed the full sovereignty on the town from very next times to their reconquest until the suppression of the dominions that took place by virtue of the law voted by Cort茅s of C谩diz in 1811
