Báguena is a municipality turolense that belongs to the district of Jiloca. He/she has a population of 558 inhabitants. The town is located by lorry to an altitude of 793 meters above sea level and the distance with capital Teruel of the county it is of 86 kilometers. It celebrates their parties in the following way: February 3, San Blas. August 31, San Unborn Ramón and September 14, Sacred Christ of the Miracles.
They say that the town was born around a strength built in the I finish of the town, denominated Vayo and that fué later on occupied by the denominated order Templarios who got a very cheap manpower and enough foods for its subsistence in exchange for a certain protection.

It is located 77 kilometers of Teruel capital and we are to a height of 1.047 meters on the sea level for what we have very low temperatures in winter.
In Barrachina almost everybody works in the agriculture and the cattle raising. The predominant cultivation is the cereal (barley, wheat, sunflower) and also the saffron. The flocks of sheep walk through the whole area.
The industrial sector is in Calamocha that is the biggest town in the district. There he/she is treated the famous ham of Teruel.

To arrive to him, we will take the general highway Zaragoza-Valencia, until Mainar, where we will stray for the regional one that goes by the towns of Villarreal of Huerva, Villadoz, Badules and Roman. Nothing else to pass this last town, we will take another deviation to the left that going by Pig, Ferreruela and Lagueruela, it arrives to Bea. Or, we will arrive equally if we take to the exit of Badules, the deviation that goes by Villahermosa of the Field, Cucalón, Ferreruela and Lagueruela.
