Description
Municipality of the District of the First floor Aragon, in the county of Teruel. The first population establishments in the municipal term are of the Neolithic one. The most interesting locations are of the Ăberos. Later on they were the Romans those that occupied the whole territory.
The municipality is busy mainly for olive trees, cereals and trees fruit-bearing (peaches) and small forests of pines. They are aromatic many plants among the vegetation. He/she has polygon industrial cattleman (farms).
Besides the agriculture he/she is having a lot of importance the industry related with the wood, having had, previously, the mining, a great strength.

Description
Alfambra in its origins was Alhambra, denomination that comes from Arabic and it means the red one. The town belonged to the Muslims up to the 1169, it dates in that Alfonso II, it conquered it and it donated it to the gentlemen of the Mount Gaudio. But their older origins drive us for the remains of a nucleus of the town that he/she has their medieval origin in 1174. Of that time it is still a promontory where he/she settles a strength of which is conserved a turret and a Gothic cistern, it was built in the years 50 the monument to JesĂşs Sacred Heart.

First museum monográfico dedicated to the cultivation, history and production of the sugar beet, next to their traditions and curiosities.
The Museum has diverse spaces that treat all the biological, historical, natural and sociological aspects, with static and dynamic information, distributed in two plants, inside a historical building.
To the exhibition of farm tools, corresponding to a conventional museum, he/she is united an audiovisual assembly that recreates the whole cycle of the cultivation of the sugar beet, developed in this Valley of the River Alfambra during the whole XX century.
Eight big panels with illustrations to all color explain, in a journey in zig-zag, all him with respect to this product highly European.
Also, we have alive elements inside the museum, as an assembly where a beet root is appreciated, so much in its exterior as interior, and I eat novel element, a plantero has been created with a copy of each type of existent beet in the world.

The Geologic Park of Aliaga is a natural space, at the same time that a mirador from which you can contemplate the last 200 millions of years of history of our planet.
Some of their magnificent formations and geologic structures, modeled in spectacular reliefs, they are considered by the scientists as almost unique examples in the world.
It represents the possibility to direct a new look on the Earth; of to make him/her and to be asked questions... The strata, accumulated some on other, are the leaves of a book where the history of our planet is narrated.
Thought so much for scientific as for curious visitors of knowing the park and their suburbs, in the Geologic Park of Aliaga two different itineraries exist. One of "more scientific" character, with 11 points indicated in the highway metallic mediating signs and explained with ceramic badges, and another of "more tourist" character that consists of 9 points, some of which coincide with those of the scientific journey.
