Description
Villa of Abbots is located in a wide plain with a height 970 meters on the sea level without receipt of mounts or heights. The municipal term is composed of two entities, Abbots and Perocojo, and he/she has an extension of 30,2 square kilometers, distributed in 1702 properties.
Our town dista 15 kilometers of capital Segovia in address South-west. It is in the crossing of the provincial highway SG - 313 (Segovia - Marugán) and regional CL - 605 (Otero of Blacksmiths - Garcillán). Equally dista 92 Km. of Madrid, 45 Km. of Ávila and 115 Km. of Valladolid.
From the populational point of view, Abbots are a town that their population has maintained throughout the last decades, although a turnaround is appreciated in the last years.
Many of their inhabitants work in the agriculture or the cattle raising, although it is true that you/they are many those that he/she has their work in the capital segoviana or even in Madrid inside the sector services..........

He/she calls himself Adrada of Pirón, for their proximity to the river Pirón and to be in a calcareous area, in which the underground waters are plentiful.Adrada makes reference to the shift of neighbors for the use of properties or waters.
In the canyon formed by the River Pirón, Adrada is in the crossroad that separates the penillanura segoviana of Sierra's beginning. Their rural and reduced orography, with 10,6 square kilometers, they have made that the economic activity of this town of half hundred of inhabitants has been centered mainly in the cattle raising. In the last years some initiatives of rural tourism that have been supplemented with regional endowments as the prey of Torrecaballeros that supplies to the whole Union Source of the Marker have arisen.....

Aguilafuente is a historical village located in the geographical center of the county of Segovia, to about 895 meters high on the sea level. Located in a sandy extensive plain where he/she settles the Earth of Pinegroves. It belongs to the judicial party of Cuéllar. Dista only 36 kilometers of Segovia and 32 of Cuéllar, 135 of Madrid and 85 of the autonomous capital: Valladolid.

Alconada is on a small hill next to a plain, for which you/they reflect the river Riaza and the river Riaguas. Located by the north to scarce three kilometers of Aldealengua of Santa María and for the south to some two kilometers of san Riaguas Bartolomé, is a not very well-known town, perhaps for not being in none of the main highways that you/they furrow the district, but this gives him/her a special charm, his people of kind treatment and his environment, surrounded of meadows and choperas, they allow the visitor to relax herself and enjoy a remote, but charming town....

Besides the reddish color of their housings it highlights the permanency in the constructive traditional ways, where they combine the wood, the stone and the adobes, also of red color.
