Description
The urban helmet is located in a hillside, to 833 meters of altitude, and in the most northern side in the highway he/she is the place of Centeneras, where a called uninhabited Nabuba existed, in it abuts her with San Miguel of Bernuy.
The origins of the name that he/she has are attributed to the existence of caves. Anyway, the registrations espeleológicos of the area have not still been classified. The last name that takes the name of the town was added when it was established the Community of Villa and Earth of Fuentidueña, to the one that belongs and of where he/she obtains some joint services.......

Description
The first data of the area go back at 1088, year of the repopulation of the area of "Duero", it dates in the one that appears Segovia like administrative, and agglutinative center of geographical diverse areas, after the Moorish retreat of this area.
The origins and the history of Cobos during the following seven hundred years are closely together to those of Párraces. During them, the Abbey exercised ecclesiastical jurisdiction on seven towns: Marugán, Bercial, Muñopedro, Cobos, Etreros, SangarcĂa and Aldeavieja, this last belonging today to the county of Avila. The influence area was the one defined among the rivers Voltoya and Eresma, inside the extensive territory segoviano that you/they close it the capital, Martin Muñoz of the Inns, VillacastĂn and Pricking with thorns. Coca is seated on an extensive plain of sands silĂceas of the Tertiary (mioceno) that you/they form a flat landscape of light waves, in form of dunes modeled by the wind and that they have been fixed by the vegetation. It is inside the natural well-known district as Earth of Pinegroves.
Hugging the urban helmet and accompanying the layout formed by the beds of the rivers, a belt of refreshing riversides that you/they form a characteristic ecosystem exists. Here, the temperature and the humidity constitute a difficultly rejectable pleasure in the summer.....

This is one of those small towns of Segovia in the one that you can forget the worldly noise, hurries and daily estres to be devoted to that that more he/she makes you feel well.
He/she has all those ingredients that make you to sit down to pleasure in him; open spaces to go for a walk, near the nature, clean air, simple and kind people, areas to make sport (soccer, fronton, petanca, flight without motor, etc.) and near places with true charm, AyllĂłn, Riaza, Maderuelo, etc..So that you make yourselves an idea of where it is, I count you near towns: to 20 Km of Riaza and 8 of AyllĂłn. We also have the ski station "The pinilla" to 30 Km., the swamp and town of Maderuelo to 20 Km., and even a sport aerodrome to about 500 m. to the outskirts of the town,

All are very small nucleuses, although in another time it should welcome to a great population group. In fact, they also existed uninhabited several called Ortoya, Ortoyuela, Veguillas and House-alone. The first that Hortoya was also written, were to the north of Torrecilla, in the area that today is known as Casares, near that which Hortoyela was. Veguillas is the nucleus that has disappeared later, because it still exists who has heard speak of this village.

The urban helmet, of unequal distribuación, is in its biggest part in the left margn of the highway that he/she goes from Adrados to Fuentesauco. It is to 58 kilometers of the capital segoviana. In this municipality it highlights, like it happens in other places of the area, the existence of signs that they mark the address toward San Ildefonso due to the old appointment of the highway.
The origin of the name of Cozuelo attributes it to the existence of numerous piedraza, since this word "cotilios" drift that you/they are piedrecitas......

The streams of Matilla and San Asleep they travel the term. The first are born in the area thanks to the waters that it reports him/her the source of ErĂas. The origin of the name of Cubillo is attributed to one of these springs, to which was placed a wood in cube form, with the purpose of conserving clean its waters. Around these waters some legends that connect with those of Horsy arise. In fact, the flows that leave of this term flow toward the other municipality.
