Description
I ignore if they have been remains or prehistoric objects in the lot where today he/she settles the town, but it seems a good place so that the first residents already chose it in the prehistory, to build their housings, given the easy defensive character that he/she offered them the orography of the hill in whose summit, with the step of the time would be built an I castrate that it evolved in castle in the Half Age.
In the Mount, in front of the Corral of the Sweet-toothed ones, several dolmens have been classified in what calls you Roc铆o's Dale. The dolmens, burials megalithic communities formed by big stone flagstones and covered by an earth barrow, they have been demolished by the step of the time and then the flagstones have been used to make walls, but they are still some that allow to guess the place where the camera or the corridor was. P. Mor谩n, at the beginning of century, found some tools, of those that the two axes of the picture proceed.

Description
In this section we present the different units of the armies of the Napoleonic time, their combat methods, their weapons and team and all the related with their life in times of war. It cannot understand each other a battle like that of Arapiles if one doesn't know before how they were the men and the means that spread in her. The topic is ampl铆simo but we hope what we offer next is enough to understand what happened in the fields of Salamanca and others of all Europe in the times in those that Bonaparte was the owner of almost all Europe. Before 1805, Napoleon had tried to unite all the European fleets to snatch the naval supremacy to Great Britain, and he had found in Spain and his powerful ships of war a valuable ally. However, the defeat of Trafalgar in 1805, continued later by the destruction of the Danish fleet, they destroyed all their plans and they disarticulated their marine politics. Since the might naval Briton was almost indestructible, he/she had to take other measures to force its implacable enemy to sign the peace. With this end, it decreed a continental (a boycott to the British exports with which Napoleon sought to give in to this "nation of tradesmen" economic mediating pressures, instead of a military direct confrontation) blockade.

Description
From a principle it belongs to Alba's Alfoz, being inscribed in their jurisdiction when the county of Salamanca arises. The reformation favored by Javier of Burgos breaks the division that had stayed during the Old R茅gime appearing the judicial parties and arising around them new districts. This is the case of the denomination of the district of Earth from Pe帽aranda to which Macotera will be inscribed and although the denomination of the district is relatively modern - 1883 - it soaks very soon in the popular conscience. From this year, there has not been any administrative change that has affected Macotera.
