Description
Geographically, the district of TO Mosque it is formed by high mountains and plains formed in an old town square that has suffered the consequences of the erosion throughout the time. They belong to Santigoso two of their but high mounts, Castelo and Uzal. Numerous rivers (river Pereiro, Chao do Porco, Cádavos and Ace Veigas) pour their waters in the river Duero already in Portuguese lands. To the west Serra do Hurdle is located with very high summits as that of Chao do Porco (1469 meters); to the East we have the High of Aguallal, 1664 meters, Valdeinfantes with about 1440 meters and Carry it he gives Canda of 1262 meters. Seadur, is a Galician village, located in the county of Prays you, in the parish of the municipality of Larouco
The origins of Seadur go back to the time prerromana. It shows of it is it Castro Cabanelas, of which is conserved a little.
In the medievo Seadur was low the protection of the Order of San Juan from Jerusalem.
In the war of the Independence the inhabitants of Seadur, together with other compatriots of other towns, are revolved against the French troops. The result was the death of six compatriots.
At the present time, Seadur is a town dedicated mainly to the agricultural sector, especially the elaboration of wine, very well-known and appreciated in the area.......

In the parish of Caxide Santa Cristina's Benedictine monastery is located, of unknown origin, probably eremĂtico, one of the monasteries that gave place to that the riversides of the superior course of the river were designated Sil with the name of "Rivoira Sacrata (as poetically he/she was called in the queen's false diploma Teresa from Portugal)."

Description
The history of the municipality was marked by the existence of the monastery of San Pedro of Rocks. According to the opposing remains, exposed in the Museum Provincial ArqueolĂłxico, it seems that it was in the century VI when a group of ascetics discovered this place and they settled here to take a retired life dedicated to the sentence. After one period of the one that ignore almost everything, established the monkish life to pass finally to depend on San Rosendo of Celanova again. During the medievo these lands were low the shared jurisdiction of the monastery of San Pedro of Rocks and San Estevo of Ribas of Sil. The rest of the historical patrimony this integrated by the parochial churches among those that we can mention that of Santa MarĂa of Esgos of the XVI century and the small church of the parish of Santa Eulalia with altarpiece painted by the teacher ourensano Francisco Moreno. In this municipality we can admire diverse Breastplates of Souls, beautiful copies of the rural Galician art. It highlights the breastplate of souls of Cachamuiña and that of Fifth. The same as the next municipalities, Esgos, has a great tradition alfafera and also of rope and baskets, although today almost he/she has gotten lost. Among the parties and pilgrimages that take place in Esgos it is significant the devotion to San Vitor and the tradition of the magostos.

Built with masonry ashlars and with plant of Latin cross, it consists in their interior of a choir, two lateral (with images of Dolores' Virgin and of Jesus Christ) small chapels and an altar that he/she presides over Christ's image in the moment of their Ascension, among the apostles' Corinthian and surrounded four columns and of Virgin MarĂa........
