Description
Villaveta tourism and pictures of the town. Between Villasilos and Castrillo MatajudĂos; among the river Odra and Padilla's Stream is the small town of Villaveta. In their vicinities, in the term of Revilla, they are Roman remains.[Villaveta]
Their history goes back at the end of the century IX being annexed to the dependent terms of Castrojeriz at the end of the XI century for Alfonso VI.
Among their architectural antecedents we can highlight that it has more than enough a small elevation the palace of Velasco's Fernández it was located, High constables from Castile on whose ruins Pure Concepción's current church was built.

Inhabited previously, it is in 1184 when the king Sancho VI the Wise creó, next to the village of Atarrabia, the village of Villava ("Villa noua"), granting their inhabitants the same jurisdiction that the inhabitants of the new burgo of San Nicolás of Pamplona enjoyed. Teobaldo II, soon after of ascending to the throne in 1254 it confirmed their jurisdictions.
According to some historians Villava was a neighborhood of San Nicolás' Church and after the parish of San Cernin or San Saturnine of the one that dista half league and he/she has for weapons the same ones that the last church of who was dependent. This way, it is not strange that in 1593 the Town council affirmed that "the this village of Villava has always been and it is had by neighborhood of this city to which has imitated and he/she imitates as much as he/she can in its uses and customs." From the XV (1462 Juan II grant him/her seat in the courts) century and up to 1828 Villava it will be one of the good villages of the Kingdom.

Villatuerta, town of Estella, data of interest.Town with 767 inhabitants, belonging to the one on the way to Santiago, its urban nucleus is divided in two parts, one to the east, in the right margin of the river Iranzu, between the parochial church of Asunción and the deteriorated hermitage of San Román and the other one is located in the left margin of the River, in the lowest part. Both nucleuses are separated by a medieval beautiful bridge. It is necessary to highlight the parochial monumental Church and already, outside of the urban nucleus, San Miguel's Hermitage.

Villamayor of Monjardin, romanico of San AndrĂ©s. Villamayor of MonjardĂn. We return to N-111 and we follow address Logroño 4 Kms., to the right there is a crossing that Villamayor of MonjardĂn indicates us.
The church is dedicated to San Andrés. It is of the second half of s. XII as the other ones that we will see in this journey and equally it was modified in different occasions in later centuries.
