Description
Meco is a municipality located to the east of the Community of Madrid (Spain). He/she has 12.198 hab. It is integrated in the metropolitan area of Alcalá of Hayfields and in the District of Alcalá.
In their beginnings it could be an agricultural Roman property, and in the Muslim era a wheat warehouse.Archaeological remains of the Age of the Iron and of a Roman necropolis. In their origin it could be an agricultural Roman property dedicated to the cultivation of the wheat, and in Muslim time an establishment for wheat storage. After the reconquest of the Half Mark for Alfonso VI in the penultimate decade of the XI century passed to form part of the Common of Villa and Earth of Guadalajara.

Miraflores of Sierra is to the north of the Community of Madrid, in the south hillside of Sierra of Guadarrama. The north half belongs to Sierra configurendo properly a mountain landscape with strong slopes that save in 4 km. more than 1.000 m of height. The border noroccidental of the municipality is flanked by a line of summits, reaching the highest bench mark the pick of Najarra with 2.105 m. In the area of the summits the hillsides are occupied by natural vegetation while in the sharp areas the piornal, vegetation adapted to the extreme climate of the high areas prevails. The forest of wild pine, the encinares and melojares are the arboreal formations more represented in the group of this Sierra's hillside.

The territory is very mountainous, with vegetation composed by extensive prairies and forests caducifolios and of coniferous. Besides possessing wide areas of oaks and rebollos like the rest of the district, it highlights a forest of there is of great interest, the call Hayedo of Montejo, also associated to oaks and hollies. The river Jarama is born in the term of Montejo and he/she reflects in its northwest limit. He/she made it for exchange of common interests. It is what today would call a collective agreement. Then, the population became of the Counts of Montijo, Romanones and House of Tamames. The Church of AsunciĂłn was made in the XVI one.
When the neighbors of Moral of Buyeros - or of Butifarros -, they agreed with those of Moral The biggest, three centuries after the foundation of first o'clock, everything was in a Moral of Enmedio, a farming town where it was always fomented also the cattle raising and that he/she transformed soon into a charming, nice, clean place, where there are some simple and cordial people that always receive to the strange ones willing to that these stop to be it and transform into friends.

Moralzarzal is a municipality from Madrid that is located to the foot of the lines of Sierra of Guadarrama and in the valley of the river of the same name.
Its term, with 42,6 square kilometers of extension, has a very irregular layout. This makes him to share their term with other many municipalities of the area and, at the same time that is one of those of more extension of those that surround him/her. Moralzarzal town of the autonomous community of madrid.Moralzarzal has a clearly compound name for two meanings. The first, MORAL, he/she comes from their old name, SOURCE OF THE MORAL one; and the second, BRAMBLE, also comes of in the past but it has conserved its intact characters.
The history says that, in a principle, the name of the town was SOURCE OF THE MORAL one, and that this had attaché another nucleus urban, called BRAMBLE. It is supposed that, with the step of the time, when uniting the two nucleuses, both names fused and, for evolution, they formed the current one.
After the Reconquest, the area was deforested by the mandatory march of the Arabs. And it seems that they were the cattle segovianos those that repopulated the place. This fact was one of those that marked the road for the later fights among from Madrid and segovianos, guided to implant its domain and jurisdiction on this area.

Morata is located in the low course of Tajuña.
