THE CHURCH OF OUR LADY'S ASSUMPTION. It is a beautiful building of a single ship and a triangular old reed-mace that it presents two holes for the bells and a last vain in the angle. It is about an exemplary onlooker of architecture románica, with Gothic and diverse added details. A cornice of Ovas carved on hefty ashlar confers him/her a medieval very attractive and not very repeated air in the Churches of the area. It possesses two entrance doors: one is guided to the south, on her he/she lifts a small tejadillo that protects it, the other aim to occident. In their interior he/she stays a pile baptismal románica.

Located to 1.087 meters of altitude Almiruete is protected by rocky formations of cuarcitas and slates that give him/her refuge and it dilutes in abundance. It is the north vertex of "The Riverside", distant of Guadalajara 55 kilometers. The repopulation in the XIII century was carried out with peasant of the area of Urbión and of Sierra of the Demand that mixed with the autochthonous population.
