Abaño, village of San Vicente cantabria town. Town located 3 km of distance of the municipal capital and 25 m of altitude, in which 76 hab resides. (2004).Located in the western coast of Cantabria San Vicente of Barquera it is a municipality that in their 41 square kilometers hardly join all the values and attractiveness of Green Spain: an outstanding patrimony historical monumental, great importance, an exceptional one half natural, a grateful gastronomy and a popular deep tradition that he/she is reflected in their festival and artistic diverse manifestations.

Abiada, paginates personal of the town cantabria town.Abiada is the most western town in the whole district campurriana and, with their 1.065 meters high, one of those located to more height. It is perfectly preserved of the winds of the north for the murallón that form the summits of Liguardi (1.967 m.) and the Line (2.040 m.) and he/she opens up, on the other hand, kindly toward the southeast through the esplanade of Joyanca. In the upper floor he/she has a balcony run with parapets moldurados with earmuffs. Embedded this there is another building of two floors with two arches of half point that give access to a vestibule. The tower is embedded to the western side of the large house, being of square plant and consisting of four floors, in the third of those which has a shield and two iron balconies. The chapel that is dedicated to Carmen's Virgin, presents the facade guided to the East, and he/she has an arch flanked by pilasters. You culminates with a reed-mace.

It is in the high part of the town, something remote of the national highway. It is a work of big proportions, of a single ship, polygonal apse and toast to the feet. The walls are of sillarejo, with ashlar in the corners, buttresses and vain. In the interior there are several altarpieces of interest, being maybe the most important the one that is in the prebisterio. It is of style romanista, of final of the XVI century and it highlights the quality of the sculpture and the reliefs with images of the Evangelists and San Cipriano (this of the XVIII century), reliefs of San Pedro and San Pablo, scenes of the life of San Cipriano and Jesus Christ or Calvary.
