Zahara of the Tuna is a pedanĂa of the municipality from near Barbate to Rate, in the county of Cádiz, Spain.
Their roots are in the time of Phoenicians although until the XVI century something didn't exist similar to an urban nucleus. Their origins come, as their name it indicates, of the fishing of the tuna, being one of the most important almadrabas in Andalusia.
