September 18 1114 the Counts D. Pedro and Dña. Elvira signs letter of donation of a chapel and three lots from Mucientes to Santa MarĂa's Santa Church the bigger than Valladolid. (D.XVIII, p. 95-98, T.I). In the letter it figures the village with the name of Muz-nentis, as village of the alfoz of Simancas, donated by Doña Magpie to its faithful tutor D. Pedro AnsĂșrez. The document makes mention to the donation of Santa MarĂa's Monastery (that is the current Hermitage of Ntra. Mrs. De La Vega).
It would pass the dominion later from the village to Castro's house. Whose males married with their daughters and granddaughters of the Count AnsĂșrez. He/she Affirms the Calf.......
