Behind this bigger magnificent square, with constructions of the XVI (with outstanding simbologÃa sculpted in stone) century, a roll and the Gothic church of Ntra. Sra. of Asunción, with their plateresque slender tower (lifted by Mendoza's gentleman in 1540), he/she hides the hill of the castle that little has today to offer. It is known about their existence in Celtic time for the archaeological remains found in him.
In the XII century, to Alfonso's death VI, Moron is in Muslim hands, although it was only about a control castillete toward Jalón and Medinaceli. After passing to Christian hands, it is sieged in 1128 by Aragonese Alfonso I the fighter.
