Description
The first documental reference of Fuentepinilla (with the toponym Peniellam), dates of 1136 -1137. In the Half Age there was a Jewish important aljama; one of their most outstanding masters was Abraham Benveniste that was rabbi bigger than Castile and treasurer of Juan II.
The old Community of Villa and Earth of Andalusian whose jurisdiction dates of 1089, he/she became Dominion-state of Andalusian-Fuentepinilla in 1380, relapsing its government in the counts' of Aguilar hands and gentlemen of Cameros that built an ancestral house and it is of supposing that they financed in great measure the Gothic church, after throwing the románica (of the one that the cover only remained).
