Description
The Municipality of Pazos of Borbén is between the Creek of Vigo and the western Galician mountains. It has a surface of 49,9 square km and with 3.151 inhabitants.
In their territory they are the parishes of Borbén, Moscoso, Amoedo, Pazos, Nespereira, Xunqueiras, Ermida and Cepeda.
In what refers to the economic activity, the municipality experienced a notable change starting from the years seventy. The form of life in the rural world, with the agriculture and the cattle raising like subsitencia means, is today about to get lost, although a lot of people cultivate small vegetable gardens dedicating to the products obtained to the family consumption.
The town of Borbén is framed in a beautiful valley. The river Borbén that ends in Miño, "divides" in two parts. The neighborhoods of Rooms of Borbén and Mosteiro, and in outra the neighborhoods of Pousiño and Sequeiros........
