It is about a church of medieval origin judging by the remains of an arch of half point in the embocadura of the head. In the century - XVII, the church suffered a substantial reformation that it was in charge of the stonemasons Martin of Urdinarán and Bartolomé of Cirmendi who in 1672 they lend declaration on the carried out works, that is, the vaults of the church for the quantity of 3.572 real; he/she has also closed a window and open another for 6 dukedoms and 3 real. Andrés Aldaburu worked to wage in the steeple for 13 dukedoms and 7 real. In 1667 it was hired with Pedro Velarandi and Martin of Bony the construction of the choir, bigger chapel and pulpit for 400 real. The church was restored in 1990.
Their plant is of a single ship he/she gives three tracts with direct narrower head (Fig. 334). The walls are of sillarejo they are jalonados for pilasters embedded to ashlar pillars with, inferior basement and a superior recrecimiento of brick. In the head they are, remains, of an arch of embocadura of half point. The wooden covers are modern and they have lightly curved form. The covered with the head is a vault of terceletes of nerves very moldurados and flat keys and it will probably correspond to the work of the XVII century the same as that of the sacristy.
