| Sculpture of "Biznaguero" character typical malagueño. This sculpture was carried out by Jaime Fernéndez Pimentel in the year 1963 and it is in the Garden Pedro Luis Alonso of the Park of Málaga. To the bottom you can appreciate the Citadel malagueña and the current building of the municipal City council. |

Municipality of the county of Málaga, in the district of AxarquÃa.
Surface: 7,5 km²
Bosses: Virgin of Dolores and San Antonio.
Lima: to N and S with the municipality of Vélez-Málaga, to the AND with the municipality of Benamocarra, to the OR with the municipality of Macharaviaya and to the NO with the municipality of Almáchar.
It is in the route of the Sun and of the Avocado. It passes the river Iznate. To 47 km of Málaga and 14 km of Vélez-Málaga.

Málaga, capital of the homonymous county, is a city from Andalusia to the south of Spain. Málaga is candidate to the European "City of the Culture" in the year 2016. With 560.300 inhabitants in 2005 the city of Málaga is the sixth in population from all Spain. Their area metropolitan bill with 1.074.074 and it is the populated fifth in Spain. It is located in the end west of the sea Mediterranean, not much more than 100 km of the strait of Gibraltar. Demographically it is more densely the urban area populated (besides being the capital) of the group of towns that you/they are located throughout 180 km of the mediterranean coast, well-known as Costa del Sol.The city of Málaga is surrounded of mountainous (Mounts of Málaga) systems. Two rivers, Guadalmedina and Guadalhorce, they go by the city ending in Mediterranean.The motto of Málaga is Very noble and very loyal, Always Bold, Very Hospital, Very Beneficent, The Primera in the Danger of the Freedom.

Marbella is a city of the south of Spain, belonging to the county of Málaga, in the Autonomous Community of Andalusia, located beside Mediterranean, between Málaga and the Strait of Gibraltar and to the skirts of the Picks Sierra Blanca and Juanar.
In the municipal term they have been remains that you/they attest that it was already inhabited from the Paleolithic one and in the Neolithic one. In the Roman time, what today knows like Old Helmet, probably correspond with the city of Salduba.During the Islamic occupation, the Muslims built, in the century X, a castle and later on a fence that it protected the city. The current name can derive of the name that the Arabs gave him/her: Marbil-the that in turn, according to linguistic recent studies, it derives of an Iberian previous toponym. June 11 1485 were reconquered, and during the following centuries the city grew considerably, until arriving to the current time in that we meet with a city symbol of the tourist luxury.
