Molina from Aragon is a Spanish town of the county of Guadalajara belonging to the autonomous community of Castile-the Stain.Lima to the north with the municipality of Wheel of Sierra, to the northwest with Tortuera and Embid, to the east with Campillo of Owners and The Yoke of oxen, to the southeast with Castellar of the Molar, to the south with Round Grasslands, to the Southwest with Castilnuevo, to the west with Corduente, and to the northwest with Rillo of Rooster. The current name of the city comes from its old ownership to the Crown of Aragon. Although it was taken by Castile to the Muslims, during the war between Castile and Aragon 1356-1369, the city (well-known as Molina of the Gentlemen, Molina of the Counts or simply, Villa of Molina) and their region passed Aragon. In 1375 it was reconquered by Pedro's hosts I the Cruel of Castile, during a punishment expedition against the Aragonese ones that supported their bastard brother Enrique in the war that this maintained with the king for the Castilian throne. The army ended up conquering Teruel, but in the following treaties of peace the Castilians evacuated all the lands and busy cities except for Molina's surroundings, known from then on as "of Aragon." Molina's village, habitual residence of Pedro I from then on, passed to be considered separated as a territory in the king's hands, habit that there is pervivido until the present time, because among the titles of the current king from Spain, Juan Carlos I, continues figuring the one of Mr. of Molina.
