It was founded in 1433 by Fernando of Quesada, commander of Santiago's order in Bedmar. In 1456, the nazaritas recovers the castle, surprising the gentleman ubetense Juan of Line. | The Cathedral of the Nativity of Our Mrs. of Baeza, Jaén according to historical sources is erected on the bigger old Mosque or aljama of the city, transformed into the year 1147 to the Christian cult for Alfonso VII first floor the invocation of San Isidoro. After a turn to the Muslim dominance, the king Fernando III reconquest definitively the city in 1227, recovering it for the new cult with the title of The Nativity of Our Mrs.. |

| The Walk of the Constitution welcomed from the XVI century the market of the village. Their structure corresponds to the classic square Castilian porticada. The Star's Source, with its round pile, remembers the revolution of 1868. The building but representative of the area it is Alhondiga, erected in 1554 in Renaissance style to coordinate the trade of cereals. |

| In the northwest end the tower of square plant rises with granite shafts embedded in its edges, it works Arab in its origin, surely minaret of the main mosque.
