Sacred Cruz is a pedanía belonging to the municipality of Murcia. It has a population of 2.314 inhabitants (INE 2004) and an extension of 4,239 km². It is to 8 km of Murcia.This pedanía is located in the heart of the vegetable garden of Murcia. Santa Cruz's Church was built in the years 50, being that of the Neighborhood of San Labor José of more modern construction. One of their buildings more emblemáticos is the Old Hermitage, located next to the bed of the Sure River, and that it was built in the XVI century.
