Roncesvalles or Orreaga in Basque, are a muncipio located in the Statutory Community of Navarrese 47 km of the provincial capital Pamplona.Also well-known as Silo of Charlemagne. It is of the XII century. It seems to be that it is the oldest building in Roncesvalles. He/she says the tracidión that Charlemagne who made it build on the rock left by the sword Durandarte of Roldán was and that there the Twelve Couples were buried.It is believed that it is work of the XII century, settling on a well that served as osario, with masonry walls and vault of half canyon of the same material. On the well the chapel runs off with, of square plant and simple vault of simple crucería. This space is higher than the floor, and it is here where it was built at the beginning of the XVII century a claustrillo with stone arcade in three of its sides and wall that it served as canons' burial. The arches are of half point and they rest in square pillars with superior imposta.
