Pear trees of the River are a neighborhood of Getafe (Madrid). It is located 5 km to the east of the center of Getafe, very near the river Orchards (of there their name). Evidently, it is not together to the city, for what you can denominate pedanÃa.It is the neighborhood less town of the municipality, with 5000 inhabitants approximately, but at the moment it is enlarging by means of projects urbanÃsticos. One can say that this it is the oldest neighborhood in Getafe, since in this next area to the river have been remains of Roman, Visigothic and medieval villages. The regional highway that unites Villaverde and San Martin De la Vega crosses the neighborhood, as well as another that goes to the center of Getafe. The urban line of bus L-4 is the one that unites this isolated neighborhood with the rest of Getafe.
