Island of Wolves is an island located in the Ocean Atlantic in front of the African costs. Politically it belongs to the municipality of The Olive, in the county of Las Palmas, Islands Canaries, Spain.Their name is due to that inhabited in the island marine wolves in the past, also well-known as seals monk, now in extinction danger. The fishermen eliminated the species since their voracity it reduced the marine resources of the area. Each one of these animals needs between 30 and 40 kilos of fish a day. They are being carried out efforts of reintroduction of the species, in spite of the negative of the fishermen.
