Valley of Güímar is in the southeast of Tenerife (Islands Canaries). In spite of their name, Güímar is not a valley but a tectonic grave originated by the landslide toward the sea of a great land mass, of about 18 kilometers long for 8 of wide. The vineyards are usually between the 600 and the 800 msnm, although they can be from near the coast until those 1.600, with what is about one of the highest vineyards in Spain. Picture: Mataparda
