Santurce (in Basque, Santurtzi) is a municipality of Biscay, in the Left Margin of the outlet of the Creek of Bilbao. Their official name is Santurtzi (called Santurce up to April of 1983, 22 when it adopted the name of Santurtzi).It is known to house the Port of Bilbao, important port of dispatch and discharge of goods at intercontinental level, and because in him they also operate two important companies of passengers' ferry, British P&O Ferries with "Pride of Bilbao" and the Spaniard Works trasmediterranea with "Fortuny", uniting the cities of Santurtzi with the city of Portsmouth, in England.
