Arteaga or Gautéguiz of Arteaga (in Basque and officially: Gautegiz Arteaga), it is a municipality of the county of Biscay, Basque country (Spain).It is a municipality located in the right bank of the creek of Mundaca or Urdaibai.The building more emblemático of this municipality is the Tower of Arteaga, a house-tower of medieval origin, that was reconstructed in the XIX century by the French empress Eugenia of Montijo.
