Manacor is the second munipicio of importance of the island of Majorca (Spain). This located to the east, abutting with Felanitx, Vilafranca of Bonany, Petra, and San Lorenzo give Cardessar. He/she has a surface of 260 km², and 35.908 inhabitants (2005). Manacor is known to give birth to famous characters throughout the history, I eat for example: Elena Gómez (champion of the world of rhythmic gimnásia) Miguel Ángel Nadal (Member of the famous dream team of the Soccer club Barcelona and captain of the national selection), Rafel Nadal Parera (considered one of the best tennis players has more than enough clay of the present time), Antoni María Alcover (great instigator of the Catalan and president of the Catalan institute).The towns that form this municipality son:-Manacor (the population's 74%) - I Carry Christ (the population's 16%) - they are Macià - S'Illot
