Samil is the biggest beach in the city of Vigo. Their walk extends for the whole coast border and it has a great equipment (pools of use public, landscaped areas, basketball courts, tennis tracks and paddle, skating rink, terraces...). In their end this he/she is the outlet of the river Presses. The beach measures some 1.700 meters of longitude and it has a public great parking and accesses adapted handicapped in the summery time. Around Samil a great development of the services has taken place: from museums (the Museum of the Sea and Verbum) until all type of local of restoration, discos and cafeterias. In summer they are organized many activities outdoors.
