Palau of Diputació és l'edifici that avui allotja els serveis of govern administratiu of Diputació. L'edifici fou construït to the segona meitat of the XIV segle, quan a frares grup that residien to the veïna ciutat of Valls, sol·licitar goes to the municipi of Tarragona, a lloc per viure i per building an església i a convent. Aquest espai fixat pel municipi quedava fora of l'emmurallat però proper to the ciutat.
