The central nucli of the parròquia is formà to l'extrem S of the terme, in the vessant esquerre of Tordera, to 528 m d'altitud, entorn of l'església of Sant Julià. L'església Prop is formà a petita sagrera i, més tard, a casetes concentració that rebé the nom of I Populated of Montseny. It plows the I populated, center of the municipi, és format per a placeta, a carreró i algunes marries, among elles municipal l'escola.
