It is he/she goes to inaugurate l'any 1921; l'autor was Domènec Sugrañes, deixeble of Gaudí i that durant uns anys treballar goes to l'Ajuntament of Mollet com municipal arquitecte. Em that època, els veïns i veïnes, com that not tenien aigua corrent, hi anaven to omplir garrafes d'aigua.
L'any 1961 Corporació presided over per l'alcalde Francesc Llorens enderrocar goes the font i reurbanitzar he/she goes the plaça; to the seu lloc hi col·locar goes a sortidor.
