Badajoz is a Spanish city located in the west of the Iberian Peninsula, beside the river Guadiana, very next to Portugal. It is capital of the homonymous county, and the urban biggest and more populated nucleus in Extremadura, with 143.019 inhabitants (I take a census of INE of 2005). Their climate is oceanic continental with fresh winters, 13,9º/3,2º in January, and hot summers, 34,3º/17,0º in July, maximum absolute that overcome the 40º every year (45,0º August 1 of 2003). Their economy is based on the sector services, serving as commercial great link for the Southwest of the Iberian Peninsula.
