Aquest edifici, conegut first amb the nom of House Font-rodona i després amb the nom of Dog Freixedas (perquè was propietat of the família Freixedas), és a construcció of cultural remarkable value i artístic, i està catalogat dins special "Pla i catàleg of the patrimoni historicoartístic environmental i of Vilafranca of Penedès."
