The natural frontier of Ceuta and Morocco is defined by seven hills, crowned by seven towers of style neomedieval, built in the XIX century, dedicated to the surveillance and the defense of to the city: Tower of Pinies, Aranguren, Anyera, Mendizábal, Isabel II, San Francisco and Strong of the Prince Alfonso.These seven hills were denominated in Roman time Septem Frates (seven siblings), and of this term it is believed that the etymology of Ceuta comes. picture: www.ceuta.es
