Municipal Palacio of Villena, Artistic National Historical Monument was declared in 1968. It was sent to build at the beginning of S. XVI for Pedro of Medina. It is of Renaissance style. Inside the building it highlights the patio with arches carpanales it has more than enough Tuscan columns, disks in the lean ones and casetones in the intradós. It is believed that Florentine Jacobo who built it was. It was pupil of Miguel Ángel in Florence. He/she died in Villena in the year 1526. At the moment it houses the City council of Villena.
