Benidorm is a municipality located in the southeast of the Iberian Peninsula, in the county of Alicante (Spain), to only 40 kilometers of the capital, in mediterranean full coast.It counts with 67.492 inhabitants (2005), although because a great majority of foreigners is not taken a census of it is calculated that there will be some 100.000 inhabitants during most of the year. Benidorm is an eminently tourist city thanks to its climate and temperatures stockings that oscillate the whole year among the 12º in winter and the 28º that are reached in summer.The attractiveness of Benidorm resides in its three beaches endowed with 'blue flag', maximum distinction that European Union grants.
