Roda of Barà has 4 beach areas very differed with 3 Km. of coast and 2 Km. of wide beaches of fine sand with daily service of cleaning during the summer season. One of those that deserves more attention is the Long Beach, award-winning with the Blue Flag. He/she has 1 Km of longitude and a marine walk of recent construction.The Arch of Barà is an arch of victory located 20 kilometers to the north of Tarragona and near the town of Roda of Bará. In Catalan it is denominated Arc of Berà or Arc of Barà and it would derive of the name of the count of Berà. The arch is located on the layout of the August Road. It is a honorary arch constituted by a central body on a podium, decoration with grooved false pilastres that culminate in Corinthian capitals. He/she has an only overture in arch of half point. The superior part of the construction has an entablamento formed by architrave frieze and cornice. It is built with calcareous stone, probably of some near llacimiento.The construction of the monument derives of Luci's testament Licini Sura and it was made in Augusto's reign, on the year 13 aC. The inscription that is conserved says: "Former testament L (uci) Licini L (uci) f (ilii) Serg (ia tribe) Surae consa [...] ". It is supposed that it was dedicated to Augusto or their genius and that it was good to mark the territorial limits that depended on Tarraco
