The slender and harmonious silhouette of its castle-palace dominates Olite, small city located in the geographical center of Navarrese, to 42 kilometers to the south of Pamplona. Real headquarters during the Half Age, the thick walls and battlemented towers of the palace housed kings and princesses. National declared monument in 1925, it constitutes the most important example in the civil Gothic of Navarrese and one of the most remarkable from Europe.
