The seven infants of Lara are known by the "Romance of the seven infants of Lara", based on the content of an old one to sing of disappeared geste that is together with Singing of my Cid and the Poem of Fernán González one of the most important songs in geste of the Castilian literature. They were children of Gonzalo Busts (son of Gustivo González and Ortega Ramírez, being in turn Ramiro's last daughter II of León and Ortigueda) and Sancha Velázquez.The sarcophaguses of the seven infants of Lara are in the Monastery of San Millán of Suso and the heads of the infants are in the church of Santa María of Rooms of the Infants, the sepulcher of Mudarra is in the Cathedral of Burgos.
