Cough of Sea (officially and in catalán:Tossa of Sea) it is a town of Costa Brava, of approximately some 5.260 inhabitants, located in the Catalan county of Gerona in the district of The Forest. Their main wealth is the tourism, with numerous hotels and services. In the bay of he/she Coughs, it possesses an enclosure walled románico, Vila Vella, in a small promontory in full beach with seven circular towers, he/she is considered their origin in the XII century to avoid the attacks of pirates. In their interior the remains of a church and the palace of the governor of the XIV century. Near the enclosure they are the archaeological discoveries of what was a Roman vila of the century IV, the Roman village of Els Ametllers.
