The Delegation of Mail in the city of Santander, is one of the best examples in the style mountain regionalista that characterized good part of the Cantabrian architecture of principles of the XX century. Built with big seat blocks, it is about an exempt building of rectangular plant.Its main facade, flanked by two polygonal towers, looks toward XIII Alfonso's square and the gardens of Pereda. He/she got up in 1915 according to the plans of the architects Secundino Zuazo and Eugenio Fernández Quintanilla, and it is one of the most typical works of those built prior to the fire of 1941.
