Calella of Costa (at the moment Calella) is a marine city, located in the district of Maresme and county of Barcelona (Spain). He/she has an approximate population of 17.000 inhabitants and an extension of 7,90 km². Calella is to 56 km of Barcelona and 25 km of Mataró (capital of the district).In the years 1970 until half of the years 1990, it was a tourist very important destination for the Central European (German, Dutch, Danish, English, French) tourism, being known popularly as Calella of the German, being ended up triplicating their population in the summer season. At the moment the tourist tendency has decanted toward the countries of the east of Europe (Czech, Poles, Russian).
