Palace of Jabalquinto in Baeza

| This noble palace ordered it to build the gentleman of Jabalquinto D. Juan Alfonso of Benavides Manrique, Lorca's" "Famous Captain, cousin second of the King D. Fernando the Catholic, married with doña Beatriz from Valencia Bracamonte; the first-born of both, D. Manuel, married doña Luisa Manrique, the celebrated poet's daughter Jorge Manrique.Reyes' Catholics style offers a chromatic surprising effect here, due to the profusion of diamond tips, pineapple nails, fronds, fleurons, knots, pinnacles, heraldry and mocárabes. The door, centered and framed by Gothic pinnacles by way of arrabá, it forms an arch conopial traveled by two trunks by those that climb fourteen human statuettes gracefully. In the second body, four windows, twins the power stations, also between pinnacles and ajimezadas with delicate columnillas. Above, eight shields "to the Walloon" with helmets, cimeras and lambrequines, four of the gentleman of Jabalquinto, Benavides, Manrique, Mendoza and Red, and four of their wife.
