Between the second and quarter decade of the XX century under the direction of the architect Josep Puig i Cadafalch with the collaboration of Josep Borí and Joan Rubió i Bellver, was carried out another great restoration with recovery of elements and original environments as well as some neo-Gothic new creations as the bridge in the Bishop's street that unites the palace with the house of Canonges, inaugurated April 23 1928 and the project of a great chimney in alabaster for the Room of the Presidency, carried out by the sculptor Josep M. Camps i Arnau, being transferred to the Museum Maricel of Sitges in 1935.
